Blogging the National Football League, Blogging the NFL

This weekend’s NFL Week 6 highlight features the undefeated Dallas Cowboys against the undefeated New England Patriots. Both teams are 5-0. And Cowboys WR Terrell Owens isn’t talking about it. At least not to reporters. And I think that’s alright. But the letter he left on his locker yesterday says enough. He called himself the “Original 81″ which most certainly references his superiority to Pats WR Randy Moss, who now shares the same uniform number. Terrell is a Top 5 NFL receiver, but he’s not Randy Moss.

No matter who says what, here’s how I think this will all play out. The Patriots are a better football team. Randy Moss has been and always will be a better wide receiver than T.O. Tom Brady has been and always will be a better quarterback than Tony Romo. And without running through every position for both teams, this season, the New England Patriots are a better football team than the Dallas Cowboys. It’s a great matchup of 5-0 teams and I’m really looking forward to it, but I think the Pats will take it to the Cowboys in this nationally televised, prime-time game.
