Today is the last day to enter our Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles contest. Entries must be made by midnight tonight, PST.
We’ve had an amazing amount of really thoughtful entries and I’d like to share some with you. Please note that this does not have any effect on choosing the final winner as that will be a random draw from all eligible participants.
If you had the power, what would you do RIGHT NOW in order to create a better world in the future?
And we got answer from YOU, the fans!
“I would have the power to reapportion things according to need. For example, say your last child has outgrown all of his baby things, they would be given to parents who needed those things. That way the environment would be less damaged by people throwing things away and others would save money.” — Jenny
“I would pass a global resolution for thirty minutes of peace each day. This would happen randomly, at any time, everywhere in the world, so long as everyone is doing it at the same time. Whatever people are doing at that moment, they have to stop and reconsider.” — Treat Infamy
“I firmly believe that no one person can single handedly change the future. The actions every single person makes and the events that arise from those actions, no matter the size or scale, all play a part in influencing and changing the same matters to others in one way or another.” — Draven
“I would stop the inflation on everything people’s paychecks are not enough to take care of they’re families. Some can’t afford to keep they’re families warm or fed, the price of food has sky rocketed electric and gas has trippled.” — Sherry Thomas
And many many more. It was really great to see so many well-thought out and original ideas for making the world a better place.
Here at SFUniverse we believe in doing our part! We can’t single-handedly stop hunger or deliver peace, but we hope that we bring a smile to everyone who stops by and visits with us. It’s the least we can do!
