Have you heard of the new poker show, FaceTheAce.com on NBC? It hasn’t become common knowledge yet, but it sounds really cool. Contestants will blindly select a pro to play against for $40,000 heads up. If the contestant takes the contest, he or she will move on to face another pro for $200,000. Then, if they emerge victorious they will have the option to go one more time for $1m. If they lose, then the contestant gets nothing.
Wow, I would love to get a shot at this game but I’m for sure quitting after $200,000. I don’t leave that much money to chance.
The poker pros will also have something on the line as 10k goes to their charity for winning. Pros include a ton of huge names including Patrik Antonius, Andy Bloch, Allen Cunningham, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Phil Gordon, Phil Ivey, Gavin Smith, and many more.
If you want to try to get in the game, you can play in the qualifying tournaments at FaceTheAce.com.
I’ll be blogging about last night’s tourney tomorrow.
