Have you ever played at a game where a player actually turns over someone’s mucked cards? I have. The reaction was one of shock and the host sternly alerted the player, “don’t ever do that again.” At a friendly home game, what else are you going to do?

I haven’t been in the position to make that call, but if I’m the host I might have to call it a night for that particular player. Turning over someone’s mucked cards is one of the worst things you can do in the game of poker. It’s so rare that anybody actually breaks this rule, no one ever really talks about.

What would you do if someone turned over your mucked cards? Is a penalty in order? Would you go so far as to kick them out of the game if host?
