Initial reports following the car accident involving Olympic swimming superstar, Michael Phelps, said that he was uninjured but it’s looking as though that might have been wishful thinking. If you’ve ever been in a car accident, you’ll know that it can take days (or months) for injuries to surface.
Apparently, Phelps has been spotted wearing a walking boot on his right ankle and it’s not some flimsy little thing either – it covers his entire foot and goes all the way up to his knee. He’s not letting it slow him down, though, since he recently said: “I’ve been in the water this week. Everything is precautionary. Nothing major. I can still train and everything.”
An investigation determined that Phelps was not at fault for the car crash since the other driver ran a red light and caused the wreck but the cops did discover that Phelps was driving with an invalid, out of state, license.
