Microsoft is paying 1 thousand dollars for 10 hours of work promoting Windows 7. That’s a lot of money but unfortunately this only happens in Hong Kong. Microsoft Hong Kong has actually offered HK $ 7,777 (US $ 1,004) for each person picked to promote Windows 7 during the last week of October when Microsoft launches its latest operating system.
Ms Hong Kong has created a Facebook group where individuals aged 15 and above who can speak fluent English and Cantonese are encouraged to post their one-minute self-introductory video. Aside from this, the applicant should have basic computer knowledge. The video self-introduction is similar to the videos sent when choosing participants in the Amazing Race.
Anyways, Microsoft is also accepting videos at their recruitement booth in Causeway Bay. From the applicants, Microsoft is choosing seven promoters for the 10 hour work schedule. They are also expected to perform media interviews for the day.
Before Microsoft chooses the final seven promoters, they are picking 30 candidates who would attend a Windows 7 workshop and create a video introducing Microsoft Win 7. The final 7 promoters would be chosen by both Microsoft and Facebook users.
A thousand dollars is big for a days work but those chosen would have to spend days creating a kick ass video, attend the workshop until they finally get the job.
Nonetheless, this would still be a cool job for any Microsoft Windows 7 fan.
