Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have been added to the lineup of the Hawaii International Film Festival in October, where they’ll appear at a special evening event dedicated to the masterminds behind Lost. The event, “An Evening with Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse,” is set for 8:pm – 9:30pm on Saturday, October 17th at the Royal Hawaiian Theater in Honolulu. Brian Lowry, Chief TV Critic for Variety, will act as emcee.

Lindelof and Cuse will be presented with the Hawaii International Film Festival’s “Vision in Film Award” during the event, previous recipients of which include the likes of Ang Lee and Zhang Yimou. HIFF will also honor Hawaii-based executive producer and director Jack Bender and co-executive producer Jean Higgins with the Hawaii International Film Festival’s inaugural Mahalo Nui Loa Award, a new award created especially for Bender and Higgins.

The evening event will be the capper to an entire day dedicated to celebrating Lost, which will include three Lost “Master Class” seminars themed around the TV show’s production. Bender, Higgins, Location Manger/Associate Producer Jim Triplett, and others will be featured at these seminars, which are being held at Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 Cinemas. Tickets are available for purchase in person from the HIFF Box Office or by phone at 808-548-5905.
