It’s D-day in the NBA. Any trades that are going to go down before the deadline need to happen before 3 p.m. today.
Here’s what’s happening around the league, according to ESPN.com:
• The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to trade Jodie Meeks, Francisco Elson and a second-round draft pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Primoz Brezec and Royal Ivey. This is a better deal for the 76ers than the Bucks.
• The New York Knicks have possibly made a deal with the Boston Celtics, which will send Nate Robinson and an unnamed player to the Celtics in return for Eddie House, J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker. Is Robinson really worth it?
• The Phoenix Suns have yet to finalize a trade for Amare Stoudemire with any team. Personally, I think they are going to keep him instead.
• Tracy McGrady is finally headed to the New York Knicks via a three-way deal between the Sacramento Kings, the Knicks and the Houston Rockets. The deal also sends Kevin Martin to the Rockets.
We already know that the Cleveland Cavaliers picked up Antawn Jamison, and I don’t think we’ll see any other major moves. With less than two hours to go before deadline, any last minute deals need to happen now.
