Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey collapsed on the bench during the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Stuckey was said to be conscious and breathing on his own as he was transported to the Cleveland Clinic for testing and observations.
The 23-year-old was taken off the court on a stretcher during the third quarter. He seemed fine as he walked off the floor for a timeout, but a few moments later slumped over in a chair. The game was halted for approximately 12 minutes as medical personnel worked on Stuckey. He apparently suffered a seizure, though it is not known at this time what caused it. Stuckey is currently listed in stable condition.
