The 2010 NBA Playoffs begin this weekend. For many NBA fans, this is the most exciting time of the year. With basketball every night and talented teams across the board, the first round will be very exciting. Here are our NBA playoff predictions for the 2010 first round matchups:

Lakers over Thunder in 7
Though the Thunder can beat the Lakers, the L.A. will slip past OKC.

Mavericks over Spurs in 7
The Spurs can win this but homecourt advantage will give the series to Dallas.

Suns over Blazers in 5
The Blazers will be doomed without Brandon Roy.

Jazz over Nuggets in 6
Without George Karl, the Nuggets aren’t smart enough to win.

Cavs over Bulls in 4
LeBron James and the Cavs are simply too good.

The Celtics are over the hill while Dwyane Wade is at the top of his game.
