If you are a basketball player, you want to be like Mike. That’s not just a commercial, it’s also reality. Michael Jordan is the gold standard in the basketball world. So when His Airness recently questioned LeBron James’ decision to go to Miami, his words reverberated loudly.

Said Michael Jordan: “There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team.’”

Obviously, MJ is referring to LeBron teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh instead of staying with the Cavs and trying to beat Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. People were already wondering about LeBron’s competitiveness. Now that the greatest basketball player of all time has spoken, those question marks will grow larger.

If faced with the same situation, WWMJD?

“In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.”

We believe you, Mike. We believe you.
