Michael Vick has been unbeatable since he got out of jail on dogfighting charges. However, that was before he went up against the Chicago Bears. The Bears were able to cage Michael Vick in their 31-26 victory. Though Vick still played rather well, he wasn’t enough to slow down the suddenly red-hot Bears, who have won four straight games.
Vick had 333 passing yards, two passing touchdowns and 53 rushing yards. Vick also threw his first interception of the season. The star quarterback this day was Jay Cutler. The Bears QB finished with 247 passing yards and four passing touchdowns.
Despite the huge win, Cutler was already looking toward next week.
Said Cutler: “It was a big game for us. We talked about it in there. We have to keep going. We have to put this behind us.”
With the win, the Bears are now 8-3 and have a one-game lead over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. The loss dropped the Eagles to 7-4 and are now tied atop the NFC East with the New York Giants.
