Blake Griffin’s rookie season has been filled with unbelievable highlights. Check out this latest highlight that happened in the first quarter in a game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets. While it probably isn’t his best dunk of the season, it very well could be his most dangerous.
The video begins with Blake Griffin swiping a steal. He dribbles the ball past Luis Scola and then passes it off. The guard throws an alley-oop for Griffin and Griffin skies and finishes it with a slam. In the slow motion view, you can see just how high Griffin got. He literally had to move his head to the side to avoid hitting it on the rim!
On the season, Griffin is averaging 20.9 points, 12.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He’s shooting 51.2% from the field and seems to be getting better and better. It seems like just a matter of time before he takes home the NBA Rookie of the Year award.
