The Minnesota Timberwolves were not a bunch of happy campers. Having lost 14 straight times against the San Antonio Spurs, including a couple nights earlier, the T’Wolves were frustrated because the Spurs were beating them yet again. As you can see in the video below, that anger erupted into five technical fouls in ten seconds. Despite the emotion, the Timberwolves ended up losing to the Spurs — yet again.
First, Corey Brewer and Darko Milicic picked up technical fouls at the same time. Then Minnesota’s head coach, Kurt Rambis, got called for a technical. Finally, Kevin Love got a technical foul. Manu Ginobili of the Spurs ended up shooting all five technical free throws and hit all five.
Ginobili led the Spurs with 19 points in their 107-96 victory. Love finished with 20 points and 20 rebounds — and a technical — but that wasn’t enough for the Timberwolves to breakthrough against the Spurs.
