Al Pacino might be rich and famous but that doesn’t mean he can escape the long arm of the IRS. The actor has been hit with a tax bill for nearly $190K — $170K in 2008 and $20K in 2009. Unless Al Pacino blows money faster than Charlie Sheen blows that wacky powder up his nose, he should be able to pay off the tax bill without a problem.
Is Al Pacino broke? Not likely. However, he lost a lot of money in the Kenneth Starr ponzi scheme. In fact, a PR rep for Al Pacino blames this tax bill on the ponzi scheme. Kenneth Starr used to be Al Pacino’s business manager.
It’ll be interesting to see how quickly Al Pacino pays his tax bill. If the IRS continues to go after him, that’s a sign that he could actually be running low on money.
