The Denver Nuggets ended up having a busy 2011 NBA Draft. With the 22nd overall pick, the Nuggets went with Kenneth Faried. At 26, Denver selected Jordan Hamilton. In the second round, the Nuggets picked Chukwudiebere Maduabum at 56.

Faried was one of my favorite players in the draft. He is relentless in all aspects of the game. He’s a great rebounder and his motor is out of this world. He may lack a bit of talent and size — but he’s going to be an NBA player for a long time.

As for Hamilton, I’m not as enthused. He’s a decent player but the fit on the Nuggets is questionable. They already have a lot of perimeter players and Hamilton is unlikely to crack the rotation next season.

Chukwudiebere Maduabum? Let’s just call him a project that will likely never see the light of day.
