Just days after a man survived a shark attack, PETA launched an ad campaign showing shark chomping a human leg with the tagline “Payback Is Hell, Go Vegan.”

PETA Shark Attack Ad

The ad will appear on benches and billboards near Anna Maria Island. This comes soon after Longboat Key resident 21 year old Charles Wickersham was bitten by a shark while he was spearfishing several miles off the coast of Anna Maria Island last weekend. Wickersham remains in intensive care.

On the PETA blog, they claim in post entitled “Paybacks Are Hell: Spear-Fisher Becomes Live Bait “:  “By issuing a series of biting (geddit?) ads placed in the area, PETA is using this incident to remind Floridians that the deadliest killers in the water aren’t sharks—but human beings.”

What do you think of the PETA ad? Inappropriate, in poor taste or just typical PETA?

Since when has PETA done things in good tastes? PETA is an origination that values animals more than humans and would rather slander a man who was the victim of a shark attack because he was fishing then actually do anything to help animals. PETA is a terrorist organization, and if you don’t believe that, I encourage you to watch Penn and Teller’s episode of their show “Bullsh*t” regarding PETA.

Don’t forget PETA was the same organization that went to rural Kenya and tried to convince the villagers to stop eating chicken, a main staple of their diet.
What ignorant S.O.Bs the PETA people are.
