Twice the Texas Rangers were within one strike of winning their franchise’s first World Series championship. Both times the St. Louis Cardinals weren’t ready to die. After coming back from two runs in both the ninth and tenth innings, the Cardinals won Game 6 on a David Freese walkoff homer in the 11th.

In what many critics are calling one of the best World Series of all time, another amazing game was produced.

The Rangers went up three runs in the top of the seventh but couldn’t hang on. In the bottom of the ninth, Freese hit a two-run triple to tie it. Josh Hamilton hit a two-run homer in the top of the tenth. In the bottom half of the inning, Lance Berkman was the hero by knocking in the tying run.

And then in the 11th, Freese became the ultimate hero.

Tomorrow will be the deciding Game 7. Will it be the uber talented Rangers or the never say die Cardinals? You gotta watch.
