When the chips are down and the Miami Heat need a bucket, who do they go to? That would be NBA champion and Finals MVP Dwyane Wade. For the second time this season, Wade delivered the game-winner for the Miami Heat.
This time, Wade’s shot downed the Minnesota Timberwolves by a final score of 103-101. He finished with 19 points, five assists, three rebounds and three blocked shots. LeBron James led the way for the Heat with 34 points, ten assists, eight rebounds and four steals.
Give the T’Wolves credit for making this a close game. Minnesota looks much improved — even though they are now 0-3 on the season. Kevin Love had 25 and 12, while rookie Ricky Rubio had 12 points and 12 assists off the bench.
The Heat improved to 4-0 and Wade’s legacy as one of the clutchest players in the league grows even larger.
