Plaxico Burress is looking for a job in the NFL. Where does he want to end up? With the Philadelphia Eagles and playing with Michael Vick as his quarterback. Burress and Vick were friends when they were children and the two talk to each other often.
“I really believe he can bring a championship to Philadelphia,” said Burress on ESPN Radio, “and I’d love to be part of that.”
Last season, Burress played for the New York Jets. Although he had his moments, it was mostly a disappointing stint. He finished the season with 45 catches for 612 yards and eight touchdown grabs.
With the Eagles, Burress wouldn’t start but he’d give the team an interesting option behind DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin.
That said, since Burress is 35 years old, he could find it difficult for any team to take a chance on him. In all honesty, he hasn’t been an above average football players since the 2007 season.
