If you bought an iPad 2 recently, I have bad news for you: Apple is about to make an announcement regarding the iPad 3. That announcement is going to take place on March 7th. In a release, Apple had this to say to various media outlets: “We have something you really have to see. And touch.”
In addition to that message, Apple included the picture that you see below. For anyone who hasn’t been living under a rock, you’ll know that’s an iPad screen.
An exciting aspect of that picture is the screen itself. According to experts, that’s a “Retina” display — which means that the iPad 3 will have an upgraded touch screen.
As usual, Apple will hold the press conference in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. But unlike last time, Steve Jobs isn’t available to announce the details of the iPad 3.
