It’s easy to forget about the San Antonio Spurs but again this year they are playing excellent basketball. Coming into their contest against the Indiana Pacers, the Spurs had won six straight games. After posting a 112-103 victory over the Pacers, the Spurs extended their winning streak to seven games.
The Spurs were led by future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan, who had 23 points and 11 rebounds. Both Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili chipped in 18 points for San Antonio.
The Pacers were led by Danny Granger and Paul George, who each had 18 points. Indiana actually shot 53.2% from the floor but couldn’t hang with the equally hot-shooting Spurs.
The win improves the Spurs, who hold the second seed in the West, to 36-14. The Pacers fell to 30-21.
