Andrew Luck is going to be the first pick of the 2012 NFL Draft and become a member of the Indianapolis Colts. Heading into the 2012 fantasy football season, should you draft Luck to be on your team? While I’m not a big fan of rookie quarterbacks for fantasy purposes, Luck may very well be an exception.
Considered the best quarterback prospect in years, Luck is going to start from Day 1. Not only is he talented, he’ll have Reggie Wayne to throw the ball to and a team built around his strengths. While I wouldn’t draft Luck as a starter for my fantasy team, I think he’s a good option as a backup fantasy football quarterback with relatively high potential.
