In the NFL, it’s quite common for a running back to be drafted in the middle rounds to become a starter in his rookie season. Ronnie Hillman could be an example of that in 2012. Hillman has some issues that will cause his stock to drop into a middle round but he has enough talent to shine at the NFL level.
Most of the worries regarding Hillman don’t really effect him as far as fantasy football is concerned. That’s yet another reason to consider him as a legit sleeper as a running back in 2012 fantasy football. For now, watch to see where he gets drafted and to see if he can win a starting gig in training camp.
