One of the most interesting matchups in the first round of the 2012 NBA Playoffs is the series between the Indiana Pacers and the Orlando Magic. The Pacers got the third seed in the East but they are so unproven that no team really fears them. The Magic, on the other hand, have NBA Finals experience but they are without Dwight Howard due to injury.
Though I’m tempted to go with the Magic’s veteran savvy, I think the Pacers will be able to win the series in a nail-biter. Indiana just isn’t good enough to take care of Orlando quickly. That’s why I think this series will go all the way to seven games.
PREDICTION: Pacers in 7
