The San Antonio Spurs always seem to make a smart move at the draft. During the 2012 NBA Draft, people had to wait a long time to see what the Spurs were going to do. That’s because the Spurs traded their first round draft pick at the trade deadline in a deal that landed Stephen Jackson back in San Antonio.

When it finally came around to San Antonio’s time to pick, the Spurs got a solid prospect. Getting Marcus Denmon at 59 very well could be a steal. He’s short for his position (shooting guard) but he was really good at the college level and his skills could translate well to the professional level.
