When registering domain names, there are thousands of options. To separate themselves from the pack, some domain registrars promise the moon and the stars. Others lower prices to microscopic levels.
When the time comes, where should you register your domain name? The best advice is to go with a company with name recognition. Cheaper, in this case, isn’t necessarily better. You could run into an unscrupulous registrar who may even try to steal your domain name. It’s happened before and will happen again.
For that reason alone, it makes sense to go with a big name like GoDaddy, Yahoo, Register.com, etc. You don’t want to become the next victim.
