The San Antonio Spurs keep losing their coaching and front office personnel to other teams. It seems like every team goes to the Spurs to hire their new head coach or find their new general manager.
After losing a pair of assistant coaches this offseason, the Spurs added one recently when they added Ime Udoka. Previously, Ime Udoka had two stints with the Spurs as a player.
When hiring Ime Udoka, head coach Gregg Popovich pointed to Ime Udoka’s work ethic and ability to connect with players. If history is any indication, Ime Udoka will have a few years in San Antonio before he leaves to become a head coach somewhere else.
