Steve Nash is the best free throw shooting in NBA history. Don’t tell that to Dwight Howard, Nash’s teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers. In fact, don’t tell Howard anything — even though he’s shooting below 50% at the free throw line this season.
Said Howard: “Listen, he was just suggesting some things, but it’s not something that we’ve already talked about or anybody else has suggested. My mind cannot get clouded with everybody telling me how to shoot a free throw. I just have to go up there and shoot it my way and not get caught up in what everybody else is saying, because that’s when I miss.”
Wow, that’s a ridiculous way to act when a Nash was simply trying to help out. The Lakers are circling the drain and it doesn’t sound like things are getting any better.
Not only does L.A. lack good health or a good bench, they also lack good chemistry.
