Cody Ross keeps bouncing around but the 32-year-old finally got paid. He signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks yesterday for $26 million over three years. After officially inking his deal, Ross took to Twitter to tell the world how excited he is to join the squad.
Said Ross on Twitter: “Could not be happier to be in the Dbacks family! Truly Blessed!”
Last season, Ross played for the Boston Red Sox. In 130 games, he hit .267 with 22 homers and 81 RBIs. Prior to joining the Red Sox, Ross also played with the San Francisco Giants, Florida Marlins, Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers.
In Arizona, expect Ross to play in the outfield and be in the lineup on most nights.
