Carmelo Anthony is having arguably the best season of his career. Unfortunately for Anthony and the New York Knicks, the injury bug is pestering the All-Star forward. He will miss the game versus the Sacramento Kings tonight due to what is being called a hyperextended left knee. This is the second consecutive game Anthony will miss with this injury.
To make sure there isn’t further damage, Anthony will go an MRI. As of now, the Knicks are classifying Anthony as day-to-day.
Anthony has already missed five games due to injury. When healthy, he’s been really good. He’s averaging 28.5 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 47.3% from the field and 43.4% on three-pointers.
