Brandon Roy, according to an anonymous source who tipped off The Associated Press, is thinking about retiring again. The former All-Star shooting guard who came out of retirement this season to join the Minnesota Timberwolves, has dealt with more knee problems. Knee problems was the reason why he retired from the Portland Trail Blazers following the 2010-11 season.
Roy was planning to play again on Saturday but that’s not going to happen. He practiced on Thursday but wasn’t able to go on Friday. He then missed shootout around earlier today.
On the season, Roy is averaging 5.8 points, 4.6 assists and 2.8 rebounds while shooting only 31.4% from the field.
