Talk about adding insult to injury. After West Virginia lost to Syracuse by a final score fo 38-14 in the Pinstripe Bowl, the Weirton Daily Times had this unforunate headline: “WVU Loses Bowel”.
Ouch.

Once upon a time, West Virginia was regarded as one of the best teams in the country. Quarterback Geno Smith was a legit Heisman Trophy candidate.
