NFL Rushing Leaders for 2012

Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings rushed joined the 2000-yard club to top the 2012 NFL rushing leaders. In fact, he became within a few yards of setting the all-time rushing record. Three other players had more than 1,500 yards, while 16 players had 1,000 yards.

Here are the NFL rushing leaders for 2012:

1. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings – 2,097
2. Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins – 1,613
3. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks – 1,590
4. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs – 1,509
5. Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 1,454
6. Arian Foster, Houston Texans – 1,424
7. Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots – 1,263
8. CJ Spiller, Buffalo Bills – 1,244
9. Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans – 1,243
10. Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers – 1,214
