The Washington Redskins lost their playoff game on Sunday night. While losing the game was bad, they might have lost something that is even more important: rookie quarterback phenom Robert Griffin III. RGIII entered the game with a big knee brace, hurt his knee early and then really hurt it late.
The last injury caused Griffin to crumple to the ground in pain. He was helped to his feet and was able to limp off the field. Griffin was unable to return as the Seattle Seahawks went on to win by a final count of 24-14.
What everyone is fearing is that Robert Griffin III tore his ACL. If that is the case, it’d be a devastating blow to the quarterback, to the franchise and to all of their fans. Let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope that RGIII didn’t suffer a torn ACL.
