Tim Duncan has had a great season. It’s like he’s 28 years old again. Unfortunately, he is actually 36 years old and the aches and pains are catching up to him. The legendary bigman for the San Antonio Spurs missed Wednesday night’s game against the New Orleans Hornets due to a sore knee.
Reports out of San Antonio also indicate that Duncan is going to miss Friday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. However, the good news is that he should be able to return Saturday night against the Phoenix Suns.
With Duncan out, look for Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili to carry more of the load. Tiago Splitter will also become a bigger target in the middle.
