The Los Angeles Lakers finally have something to be excited about. After missing the second half of their most recent game, many Lakers fans were worried that Dwight Howard would be out for an extended period of time. However, after the doctors looked at Howard’s injured shoulder, they said that he’s fine and cleared him to play.
Howard is dealing with a torn labrum and is being told he’ll have to just deal with the pain. Since he didn’t do any additional damage to his shoulder, the doctors don’t think there’s any reason to hold him out.
“I still feel it,” admits Howard. “It’s still aggravated. It’s something that I’m going to have to learn how to cope with. The biggest thing is just getting it stronger so it won’t continue to bother me.”
The Lakers really need to start winning now if they are going to make the playoffs. With Howard able to play, that’s a great start.
