The most talked about snub of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Many NBA pundits were surprised that he wasn’t selected to represent the Western Conference in the All-Star game. Someone else is also miffed by the situation: Mark Jackson, Curry’s head coach on the Warriors.
Said Curry: “He is an All-Star. The thing I talk about is he stands for everything that’s right. If you’re a coach, he’s the one guy you should vote for. I wish coaches had the luxury of watching this guy go about his business every day.”
Curry, for his part, was taking the All-Star snub situation in stride.
“I was anxious to see what would happen,” said Curry. “I was hoping for the best, but we got one guy from our team in there, so the Warriors are represented and we still got 41 games to play.”
As Curry noted, his teammate David Lee will be representing the Warriors in the 2013 NBA All-Star Game. Unfortunately, Curry will have to watch it from home.
