The Toronto Raptors have landed Rudy Gay in a three-team trade between the Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons and Raptors. The other main pieces in the trade: Tayshaun Prince is going to the Grizzlies and Jose Calderon is going to the Pistons.
The biggest name in the trade is Gay. He has superstar talent and a superstar body. Can he put it all together and become a superstar? He hasn’t yet … but there’s a chance he still could.
As for the Grizzlies, they save money and get a veteran winner in Prince. The Pistons were able to land a starting point guard.
At the end of the day, all three teams are happy with what they did.
