Green Bay Packers fans love Donald Driver. The 37-year-old wide receiver remained popular this season even though he had just eight receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns. Packers fans will soon have to say goodbye because Donald Driver is retiring.
Driver will make his retirement official at a Lambeau Field press conference a few days after the Super Bowl.
The 6-foot, 190-pound wide receiver finished his career with 743 receptions for 10,137 yards and 61 touchdowns.
In retirement, he wants to spend a lot of time with his wife and three children.
Said Driver to ESPN Radio: “Someone is always going to be able to tell my kids that their dad was a great football player. But no one will be able to tell my kids that their dad was a great dad and a great husband, so I have to be able to show them that.”
