Steve Nash was back in Phoenix for the first time since asking to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers during the offseason. As you can see in the video below, Nash got a standing ovation by the fans in Phoenix. They obviously appreciate all he did for their franchise.
While this was a good moment, the night would eventually turn sour for Nash and the Lakers. They played well early but collapsed in the fourth quarter. Thanks to a big game from Michael Beasley, Nash and the Lakers lost the game and their winning streak came to an end.
The fact that the Suns are out of the playoff picture is no surprise. However, the Lakers are also out of the playoffs … and that’s a shock.
