The Miami Heat winning streak is history. After 27 straight wins, the Heat suffered a loss against the Chicago Bulls. Luol Deng had 28 points to lead the Bulls to the 101-97 victory.
LeBron James played great — 32 points, seven rebounds, four blocks three steals and two blocks — but it finally wasn’t enough. Miami hadn’t lost since a Feb. 1 game against the Indiana Pacers.
Along with Deng, Carlos Boozer was the star for the Bulls. Boozer poured in 21 points, 17 rebounds and three assists and continuously tortured the Heat in the interior.
This Heat winning streak may be over at 27 games but it’ll be remembered forever. Only one streak in the history of the NBA was longer.
