Last night, Israel dropped bombs on Syria. Why did they take that measure? According to insiders, Israel was paranoid that Syria would give dangerous missiles to Hezbollah — the Lebanese group that poses a major threat to Israel.
In addition to missiles, there has been widespread fear that Syria is spreading the use of chemical weapons. Not only have they allegedly used chemical weapons against their own people, they are potentially selling it to terror groups around the globe, such as Hezbollah and Al-Qaeda.
These might not be the only bombs that drop on Syria. The United States could take action — especially if Syria continues to use chemical weapons. President Barack Obama has even reportedly thought about supplying weapons to rebel groups within the country.
In Syria, the nation’s civil war has torn the country apart. The unstable nation is unpredictable at this point. That fact also played a role in why Israel decided to bomb.
