Be prepared to become a fan of Matt Kemp. The superstar outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers met with a disabled kid after a recent ballgame. But instead of just giving him an autograph and moving on, he genuinely took interest and ended up going an extra mile or two.
At first, the disabled kid — Josh, according to the audio — was hoping for a signed baseball.
But after he got the autograph, Matt Kemp wasn’t done. The Dodger gave Josh his cap — and then proceeded to give him the jersey off his back.
As if that wasn’t enough, Matt Kemp then gave Josh his cleats. Words aren’t needed to describe the joy on Josh’s face after his meeting with his new favorite player.
