Hero Antoinette Tuff Talks Down School Gunman, Saves Countless Lives

    An armed gunman entered the McNair Learning Academy in Decatur, Georgia carrying an AK-47. Thankfully, Antoinette Tuff came to the rescue. The school clerk reportedly confronted the gunman in a calm way and gently helped him eventually surrender to police. She did so by explaining her life story and telling the man that everyone has the ability to overcome.

    There’s no doubt that the gunman wanted to kill and injure. Instead of panicking, this hero was able to relate her story to the man and difuse the situation. She also utilized prayer to subdue the possible rampage.

    At the end of the day, nobody was hurt in this incident. And it’s not hyperbole to suggest that this woman could have been the difference between this outcome and something comparable to Columbine. Here are the aforementioned images, click the right arrow to view all nine:
