Horror! Zen Monk Christine Svanemyr Ran Over at San Francisco Park

An unbelievable accident took place yesterday in San Francisco, California. Christine Svanemyr was reportedly sunbathing at a local park with her 8-month-old baby and her dog. Out of nowhere, a green Parks and Recreation truck owned by the city ran her over. She died shortly thereafter. Thankfully, her daughter and pet were unharmed.

Look below for 9 pictures of Christine Svanemyr, who was only 35 years old at the time of her death. She was a Zen monk who was extremely popular in the city. Friends and family describe her as an amazing woman with a lively spirit and endless love.

The city worker who ran her over fled the scene like a coward — but was eventually caught. It’s sad that someone as beloved as this woman has left this world. Let us hope that those close to her find peace.
