Although the Morgantown, West Virginia community has known her identity for a long while, prosecutors recently announced that Shelia Eddy will be tried for murder as an adult. Thus, they have officially released her name to the media. According to authorities, she killed Skylar Neese with help from Rachel Shoaf.

At the end of this article you can view 12 pictures of Shelia Eddy. She’s quite a good looking girl and she doesn’t look anything like a prototypical killer.

Skylar was found stabbed to death. Rachel has already confessed to the cops. These three girls were friends and it’s unclear why two of them decided to kill the third one. That’s probably something we’ll never understand.

Anyways, here are the images I promised. Go ahead and click the right arrow so that you can view all twelve:

Why did they have to murder that poor girl? What was their motive ?

You may want to find a version of the story written by an actual “journalist” and not a self-glorified blogger like Stephen Kersey. Just a suggestion.

This is the second article I have read written by Stephen Kersey and both are complete inaccurate narrow minded ramblings.

There is no such thing as prototypical looks of a killer!!!! Where on earth did you get that rubbish from – how can you be so stupid as to think that killers look a certain way?

In fact – read up on it before doing an article would be my advice as even in the case of serial killers that kill to a certain prototype the “Experts say there is really no such thing as a prototypical serial killer; they can be reclusive loners like Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, or charming, unassuming good looking charismatic law students like Ted Bundy.” Although at least with serial killers they are more often than not white and loners – they do not have specific looks!!! And you most certainly cannot say that ALL killers have a prototypical look!! Thats outrageous!

And you arent even talking about serial killers – or about prototypical killers – you are saying prototypical LOOKS of a killer. OMG such absolute rubbish!

The author of this article needs the sack (to be fired) – he writes non-factual rubbish and researches nothing before making grand incorrect statements.

Hi sweetlotte, the author (Mr. Kersey) was not saying that all killers must fit the prototype — that would be putting words in the author’s mouth. The author referenced a prototype killer — are you certain that Mr. Kersey was not speaking of what we *think* of being a prototype killer, not someone who actually *is* a prototype killer? In other words, the author could have acknowledged the difference between our society’s perception (the stereotype) versus reality (variance between killers). You have no way knowing. Thus, your reaction has gone entirely too far, and I urge you to reevaluate yourself before judging others.

That all being said, it is rare to find an individual that leads a happy healthy life that kills another human being for nonreligious reasons. It is even rarer to find that it is an attractive young girl. I’m not saying it has never happened in history, you just don’t see this very often. And because of that fact, I would say the author was justified in making the statement he did.

His words were/are: “She’s quite a good looking girl and she doesn’t look anything like a prototypical killer”

He does not say the public’s perception of what a prototypical killer looks like as you have suggested. His words are clear, and wrong. He is not justified in saying that. If he meant it the way you described then he should correct his article because it most certainly doesnt read like that.

And I am sorry but your statement of “it is rare to find an individual that leads a happy healthy life that kills another human being for nonreligious reasons” is incorrect. I work in criminal law in the UK and I have not once heard in 20 years of a murder happening, other than a terrorist killing, for religious reasons in this country, & many of them leaving happy healthy lives before committing the crime.
