The father of Kevin Barrera is livid. His son was murdered four years ago at the age of 14 in Richmond, California. Shockingly, his dead body can be seen near railroad tracks when using Google Maps.

Scroll down to see 7 pictures of an uncensored look at Kevin Barrera’s remains. His dad is currently asking the billion dollar company to remove the shots from Google Earth.

This is just an unfortunate situation all around. The murder is still yet to be solved. And the fluke occurrence that satellite imagery would pick it up is just adding salt to the wound. I’m sure Google will do the right thing and at least blur out the body.

In the meantime, here are the images. Click the right arrow in order to view the gallery in its entirety:

Wow, that’s just horrible for the family to have to deal with. Google should definitely take that down

  • Rob D

Google please do the right thing and remove that picture.

  • Nichole Neathery

ok, it doesnt matter now you twits! its ALL OVER the internet now because the family JUST HAD to go public with this story BEFORE it was taken down by google. so really? after that image is gone from google, which they told the family would be less than 10 hours ago, in up to 8 days because they have to get the satellite back to where it needs to be. does nobody understand this kind of thing?

Aren’t you a charmer? Nice writing skills.

    • g_blanston

Apparently, you’re the one that doesn’t understand. The pics are aerial photos taken from an airplane, not satellite pics. Keep zooming out, and you’ll see the obvious difference between satellite and aerial. And why couldn’t they just black out that area until they get new pics, or use an older version of that same area? Twit.

Yea, if the case is low on the list due to an over flow of homicides in the given area, and the man takes this publicly…guess what…it shoots to the top. Cops don’t like high publicized cases to go un solved. It may hurt him more, but it could be the best thing he could have done for his son. Think before you criticize…

      WAY TO GO, DAD!

I was only pointing that it’s not a satellite photo. You make a good point, but whether or not they remove the image, he still turned it into a high profile case.

good luck removing it from the internet idiot dad

  • ME

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • sffffsss

Good thing this article posted the pictures since the dad wants them removed. Asshat writers.

  • Toadie

they said on another website that it’s been darkened out but I was just on google maps and it’s still in plain site I screen shot it but it won’t let me zoom in anymore and you can’t see anything but a body laying there. I hope they remove it but probably will take years stupid….

  • WTF

    The article says:

“I’m sure Google will do the right thing and at least blur out the body. In the meantime, here are the images…”

Are you kidding me? You blast Google for showing these images and say that blurring them would be “the right thing”, and then you proceed to show the very images!! Are you fucking kidding me?

  • Starlanique

Isn’t it possible that images like this could help to catch the killer?

I’m so sorry for the family, going through this pain… but overall, I think this tech could solve more crimes than hurt people.

  • WOWWHEE!

Hmm, I’m confused, however, there’s been a couple of comments which have made me laugh, true story, anyway enough about me.
