Today, let’s start by giving credit to Andre Johnson of the Houston Texans. Sure, the Texans are terrible this season but that hasn’t stopped the superstar wide receiver from embracing the holiday spirit.
Johnson took 12 children who are in CPS custody on a Toys R Us shopping spree. When the kids and their siblings finished shopping, the total came to a whopping $17,352. The NFL star happily paid the tab and then posed for this picture:
NFL players usually only get bad press when they’re off the field of play. We talk about the arrests and the scandals — but we rarely ever talk about the good these men do in their community. So, with that in mind, we salute you, Mr. Andre Johnson.
