Though John Kasich can’t manage to win anywhere beyond his home state of Ohio, he’s still hanging in the presidential race. On Friday, a pro-Kasich super PAC put out a video that refers to Kasich’s rivals as “crazy.” The ad will air in both New York and Pennsylvania ahead of those primaries.
Using Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” as background music, the attack ad starts out by going after Ted Cruz. The narrator references, among other things, the comments Cruz’s dad made about his son being “anointed.”
When the narrator turns to Donald Trump, he, of course, talks about the GOP frontrunner’s statement on registering Muslims. He also attacks a number of Trump’s other policy positions.
The ad concludes with: “That the best we can do? No it’s not. The best we can do? John Kasich. Stable. Presidential.”
They forgot “Delusional.” Even though Kasich is 31 points behind Trump in New York, his campaign thinks he can win the state.
